know what you want

Posted On: October 12, 2008

Like most of us I am at the mercy of time. I only have 24 hours in the day (at least 7 of those are me sleeping) just like everybody yet it's amazing that I can still 'find' the time for myself to do something for me. How is it that other's seem to always not have time for them?

To be fair my hours of work are more flexible than most however make no mistake that when I’m not training my clients I’m working on the business of getting people to attend my sessions or sign up for 1 on 1 training so my time for just myself to do whatever is just as limited.

One of the things that’s slowly developed as a result of my training mentality is that when I know what I want and I create steps to get it, I have somehow ‘found’ time to contribute towards me and my own personal development.

Ask yourself what you want, write it down.

Create a plan of attack and break it down into little steps.

Assign a daily task for yourself and cross it off as you accomplish each task.

Guess what? Before you know it, you’ve completed a goal and hopefully created a positive habit!

See you at the next session!
