Give yourself a break

training hard and have little or nothing to show for it? I know the feeling.
It’s such a great feeling in the beginning, you start another exercise routine and results are coming quick and fast.
But then you become stuck. Stuck in the same routine with little or no improvement. This could be for a number of reasons but sometimes it’s as easy as giving yourself a time out.
Taking as little as a couple of days off from training may be just what your body needs to recover and rebuild so that you’re able to train harder thus increasing your bodies’ need to adapt to the stimulus.
Next time you find your results plateauing give yourself a rest and recover so that you can come back to training stronger and better than ever.
