Summer Bootcamp

That's right, it's finally here! As the days get hotter & hotter we're more likely to find ourselves by the pool or down the beach. Like most of us I am at the mercy of time. I only have 24 hours in the day (at least 7 of those are me sleeping) just like everybody yet it's amazing that I can still 'find' the time for myself to do something for me. How is it that other's seem to always not have time for them?

With another cycle successfully completed I'm very proud of all 'my' guys n 'gals' who really put in the effort attending every session and putting in 100% which showed in the 6th week! A few standouts were an 8m4s run time for one participant and another really adapting a healthy lifestyle into their normal routine resulting in Increased energy and better concentration and focus at work.

Don't you just 'love' Mondays?

It signals the beginning of the week and with it another 5 gruelling days of work, commute, meetings and for most people misery. It's easy to understand why so many of us just 'love' it. We've even come up with a name for it, 'Mondayitis'. Like a viral disease it spreads quick and fast and leaves no one untouched. Me I'm just like everybody else I LOVE mondays!

"Always be prepared"

That's the Scout's motto, To be prepared in mind and body. It's been a while since I was a scout but that motto always seems to come back to me. Being in the Fitness Industry it's easy for other to assume that you're always in shape (if you're not then you might be in the wrong industry) and that's fair enough. But just like everybody else having obstacles is part and parcel of life and us trainers are definitely not immune to it. "What's that got to do with being prepared?" PLENTY!
